Meet Your Tutor
Nida Abdulla
I offer tutoring and college coaching services. Previously I’ve worked as a full-time English teacher in middle and high school, a tutor and college essay advisor for an education center, and a special educator for students with learning disabilities. I enjoy crafting customized curricula for students who are looking to get to the next level. I like to take the long view with my students — not just to prepare them for a standardized test, but to build up their confidence so that they may realize their potential.
My Credentials Include:
- NJ certifications to teach English Language Arts, English as a Second Language, and Special Education
- Bachelors Degree in English Literature and Education from Brown University
- 2+ years working full-time as an ELA classroom teacher
- 3+ years working at a tutoring center and a college application service
- My students have been admitted to UCVTS (Scotch Plains, NJ) and to Yale, Columbia, UPenn, Williams, Duke, Rice, UC Berkeley, and JHU.
